One of the centre’s four objective areas is the development of the cultural dialogue between religion and philosophy. The direction concerns the relation between philosophical thought and religious traditions, with an opening towards contemporary public debate.
The themes assumed by statute (Chapter II):
- dialogue and interconfessional mediation;
- the public perceptions of philosophical and theological knowledge;
- attitudes and conflicts regarding the role of religion in contemporary society (freedom of expression / religious freedom);
- public policies in the field of culture and of religious denominations.
