Data controller
Centre for Research in the History of Philosophical Ideas (CCIIF), Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest, Splaiul Independenței nr. 204, Sector 6, Bucharest, Romania. For any personal-data question: [TO BE COMPLETED: data-protection contact e-mail].
What data we process
One thing only: the name and e-mail address you enter in the newsletter subscription form. This website sets no first-party tracking cookies, runs no visitor analytics and collects no browsing data.
The subscription form is currently a demo: the data you enter is not transmitted and not stored anywhere. The descriptions below will apply from the moment a real newsletter service is connected — we will update this page before any data is actually collected.
Purpose and legal basis
The form data will be used exclusively to send you announcements about the Centre’s conferences, calls and publications. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the consent box in the form. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
How long we keep it
Until consent is withdrawn or you unsubscribe; the data is then erased. [TO BE COMPLETED: the newsletter provider’s retention period, once connected.]
Who we disclose it to
We do not sell or share the data with third parties. Once a newsletter service is connected, the data will be processed by that provider as a processor under a data-processing agreement. [TO BE COMPLETED: provider name, once selected.]
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Write to us via the Contact page or the address above; we reply within one month. You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian data-protection authority (ANSPDCP).
Updates
Last updated: 13 October 2026. When conditions change — for example when the newsletter provider is connected — we update this page before any data is actually collected.
