CCIIF runs and hosts national and international research projects that connect fundamental philosophical research with contemporary cultural debates — heritage, art, environment, cultural identity and public policy. Its areas of interest are fundamental research (history of philosophy, metaphysics, hermeneutics), applied research (cultural heritage, philosophy of the image, applied ethics) and decision support.
