Applied ethics is the direction that takes moral research into the concrete field of decisions: ethics in business and politics, environmental ethics and professional ethics, in interdisciplinary dialogue with law, medicine, economics and administration. The centre’s statute explicitly lists applied ethics (ethics in business and politics, environmental ethics) among the applied research directions.
