“CCIIF Conferences” (Conferințele CCIIF) is the permanent lecture series of the centre, hosted by the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Bucharest. From edition to edition, the series has brought before the academic public guests from Romania and from abroad — professors, researchers and doctoral candidates — in lectures followed by open debates. Guests of the editions documented in the archive include Mihai Laurențiu Fuiorea (“Beyond the Public and the Private”), Daian Bica (“Empiricism as an Epistemic Attitude”), Ștefan Bârzu (“Kierkegaard Wrote Nothing. Another Hermeneutics of the Pseudonyms”), Dragoș Vădana (“Meditation and Affective Constitution in Descartes”), Maria Chiara Bruttomesso (University of Verona) and Andre Krauss (“Hannah Arendt on Eichmann: The Right to Judge and Other Moral Dilemmas”).
The lectures usually take place on Thursdays at 6 p.m., in the Lucian Blaga Hall of the Faculty of Philosophy, and are open to the public.
