The collective (and interdisciplinary) volume CRITIQUE, MARGINALITY, CYNICISM is at the printer. Its 16 original studies cover a vast range: from philosophical reflections on the legacies of ancient cynicism to the detection of the avatars of cynicism in the online environment; from the problematization of the artistic (neo)avant-gardes to the presentation of research in the archives of the Securitate offering a novel image of dissent in Ceaușist Romania. The volume, co-edited by Cristian Iftode and Cristina Voinea, will reach the shelves of the university bookshop, on the ground floor of the Faculty of History, during the following week, and can subsequently also be purchased online (http://editura-unibuc.ro/).
