Romanian Thinkers in World Culture (second edition). 100 Years since the Great Union

Organisers: Politehnica University of Bucharest, Department of Training for the Teaching Career and Socio-Human Sciences; the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Philosophy (CCIIF), the “C. Rădulescu-Motru” Institute of Philosophy and Psychology of the Romanian Academy

Venue: Politehnica University; lecture hall AN 010, rooms BN313, BN 314.

The central focus of the conference is to bring to light the contributions of Romanian thinkers to the human sciences, the way in which they have been and are received outside the country, the exegeses concerning their work, the directions of thought they opened up and the resonance of their ideas in today's world.

Specialists, teaching staff, researchers and holders of doctoral degrees in the human sciences, in the education sciences, philosophy, psychology, history, sociology and logic are expected to take part.

In order to participate, a document containing the following is to be sent to the following e-mail address: ganditoriromani@yahoo.com, by 15 October of this year:

the participant's name and surname, academic title and affiliation
the title of the presentation (in Romanian)
the abstract of the presentation (in Romanian). The abstract must not exceed 350 words.

The result of the evaluation of the presentations will be communicated by 18 October of this year.
